Haiku Austin pays tribute to this spirited city with poems in the traditional haiku format, with three lines of 17 syllables in a 5-7-5 arrangement.

Written by longtime Austinite Carlotta Eike Stankiewicz, an advertising creative director and former winner of the O. Henry Pun-Off World Championship, the book features witty haiku about iconic Austin places, people and experiences. Accompanying the poems are vibrant, full-color photos that will appeal to readers whether they’ve been in Austin for 20 years or 20 minutes.
