Taco Haiku (tacoku?)

Ahhhh….tacos. Gotta love tacos. We could write a whole book of haiku just for tacos. But that’s another project for another time… Right now, we’re focusing on Haiku Austin, the book we’ll be printing in April. First step — getting people signed up on our email list.  If you did already — good for you! And thank you.

If you’ve landed here via a postcard, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or some crazy lady accosting you in the elevator (that’d be Carlotta), please sign up using that form and “Haiku Me” button in the upper right hand corner of the page. We’ll be sending out fun little haiku every now & then, along with updates on the Kickstarter that will help get Haiku Austin printed. (It’s happening SOON, friends!)

Oh, and if you aren’t already following us on the aforementioned social media platforms, please do (and share/spread the word!). We’ll do our best to be fun and not annoying.

xo

Kite Festival Haiku

KiteFest haiku

On Sunday, March 6, Austinites take their kids to Zilker Park and their kites take to the skies for the annual Zilker Kite Festival. Bring the family, your favorite kite, a picnic and maybe some scissors for that inevitable moment when the Kite-Eating Tree makes a meal out of yours…
